Associations ranking for CCL 2027

Number of players: 40

Qualified for the League stage: 10

Qualification groups: A, B, C, D, E

Format:

• 40 players will be divided into 5 separate qualification groups.
• In each group, 8 players will compete in a double-elimination playoff format, with matches being Best of 3 (Bo3).
• Winners of the Upper and Consolidated Finals of each group will advance to the League stage.

Double elimination format:

Draw dates: November 21 or 22, 2026.

The draw will be streamed live on the Carcassonne Ukraine YouTube channel.

The exact time will be announced separately on the carcassonne.gg Main page.

Draw format:

• Players will be divided into 2 pots of 20 players each: seeded and unseeded.
• Players will be seeded based on their GG Elo rating at the time of the draw. Players without a GG Elo rating will automatically be placed in the unseeded pot.
• All first matches in the double-elimination playoff will be between seeded and unseeded players.
• Players from the same association will be placed in different groups: A, B, C, D, E.

• Players from the same association will be placed in different groups: F, G, H, I.

Qualification group: X, Y, Z

Format:

• 24 players will be divided into 3 qualification groups of 8 players each.

• Each group will compete in a double-elimination format, with all matches played Best of 3 (Bo3).

• The Upper Bracket winner will face the Lower Bracket winner in the Group Final.

• If the Upper Bracket winner loses the final, a rematch will determine the group winner.

• The winner of each group will advance to the League Stage.

• Players from the same association will be placed in different groups: X, Y, Z.
