Participants

 

The League Stage features 60 players:

• 38 players receive direct spots.
• 22 players qualify through the Qualification Stage.

 

Seeding Pots

 

Players are divided into 5 seeding pots (Pot 1 to Pot 5), each containing 6 players.

Seeding is based on Player’s Peak Elo achieved between January 1 and December 28, 2025.

 

Draw

 

1. League Allocation
   All players are assigned into two leagues:
   • EARTH League
   • SPACE League
     Each league receives 3 players from every seeding pot (Pot 1–5).
      
2. Opponent Assignment
   • Each player will find out all five opponents they will face in the League Stage.
   • Every player will face one opponent from each pot (Pot 1, Pot 2, Pot 3, Pot 4, Pot 5).
      
3. Association Protection
   • Whenever possible, players from the same association will be placed into different leagues to ensure the most balanced distribution between EARTH and SPACE.
   • If possible, players from the same association will not be paired against each other in the League Stage.

League Stage Format

 

1. Players are divided into two leagues of 30 players each: EARTH and SPACE.
2. Each player plays 5 matches against opponents from their own league.
3. Standings are calculated separately for EARTH and SPACE.

4. League standings are determined using the following criteria:

   • Matches Won – number of matches won

   • Games Difference – difference between Games Won and Games Lost

   • Games Won – number of games won

   • Opponents’ Matches Won – total number of matches won by all opponents in the league stage

   • Opponents’ Games Difference – combined difference between GW and GL of all opponents in the League Stage

   • Opponents’ Games Won – total number of games won by all opponents in the League Stage

   • Player Coefficient – a new rating based on match results in CCL, WTCOC, ETCOC, Copa America, Asian Cup

 

Advancement to Playoffs

 

After all 5 league matches:

• Players ranked 1–4 in each league advance directly to the Round of 16.
• Players ranked 5–12 in each league advance to Playoff Round 1.
